Modern treasures. Future heirlooms.

Combining sculptural forms and precious materials with thoughtful design and artisan craftsmanship, AGMES creates pieces that are at once distinctive and enduring. Our jewelry, accessories, and objects balance vitality with simplicity. Handmade to order in New York City, each piece is appealing to the eye, inviting to the touch, and destined to become an heirloom.

All that is not eternal is eternally out of date.

- C.S. Lewis

Essential forms. The collection’s bold yet refined shapes are inspired by architecture and art, the built environment and the natural world, from urban landscapes to work by the likes of Alberto Giacometti, Man Ray, Barbara Hepworth, and Ellsworth Kelly.

Sublime, sustainable materials. We start with the finest materials, including 925 sterling silver, 18-karat gold vermeil, 14-karat gold, and freshwater pearls. Almost all of the metals we use are recycled, and any scrap metal we generate is ultimately melted down for reuse.

Designed for tactility and comfort. Form and function are inextricable. The scale, texture, and weight of each piece is determined by its relationship to the body, so that even the most substantial-looking form is surprisingly lightweight and easy to wear.

Made to last for generations. To ensure our creations are constructed to stand the test of time, we work closely with a small team of jewelers in New York City. These skilled artisans help to hone our prototypes and craft each piece by hand. Everything is made to order in small batches.

Image of Owners

Based in New York City, AGMES is led by sisters Morgan and Jaclyn Solomon. They founded the company in 2016, having been encouraged to do so by their late friend, Andrew. His initials combine with Morgan’s to form the name AGMES. A compassionate soul, Andrew was determined to leave the world better than he found it. His legacy endures in our commitments to kindness and equal treatment for all, sustainable practices, and creating pieces that can be handed down to the next generation.
