TRIBECA NEIGHBORHOOD GUIDE

Downtown NYC has always been home, and when it comes to Tribeca, we know the places worth visiting. We’re sharing a few of our favorite spots to eat, drink, wander, and find inspiration — from design destinations, tucked-away gems, and the places we keep coming back to.

A destination for collectible design, art, and the unexpected. The gallery’s roster brings together emerging voices with established names from across the design world.

R & COMPANY

AGMES Tip: Don’t skip the library. An extensive collection of design books to lose time in.

STUDIOTWENTYSEVEN

A boutique contemporary gallery blending fine art and design. This immersive gallery is just steps from our Tribeca Studio.

QUARTERS GALLERY

Located in a Tribeca loft, this concept store is our favorite for gathering interior inspiration and discovering new designers.

FORM ATELIER

A sculptural space filled with collectible furniture, art & objects rooted in the present. Inspired by the the thread of modernity traced across cultures and styles, we love their mix of modernist icons and contemporary finds — think Perriand, Jeanneret, Prouvé & Noguchi.

PLAYING MANTIS

A local artisanal toy store carrying a unique selection of toys from around the world, nothing made of plastic. A great spot to pick up a gift for any little ones in your life.

HAPPIER GROCERY

A neighborhood gem for beautifully sourced produce and hard-to-find products from small-batch makers.

Our favorite spot to grab a fresh salad or smoothie, or pick up a healthy yet indulgent treat.

Elevated farm-stand essentials and ready bites. Homegrown produce from their upstate NY farm, excellent coffee & pastries, and the friendliest staff.

RIGOR HILL MARKET

AGMES Tip: One of the best spots for dog sightings and stylish locals. Also a favorite lunch spot of ours.

AU CHEVAL

Our downstairs neighbor and a reliable choice when the day calls for a celebratory lunch or dinner. Iconic burgers, craft cocktails and a chic diner-inspired setting.

LOCANDA VERDE

A Tribeca staple for soulful Italian cooking by Andrew Carmellini. We come here for fresh pasta, and simple dishes done exceptionally well.

AGMES Tip: Order the whole roasted chicken for the table. It’s a classic for a reason.

CASA CARMEN

Mexican heritage cuisine & agave-forward cocktails. Elevated in a warm, intimate setting. A great spot to settle in for dinner and stay for one (or more) cocktails.

THE ODEON

A downtown institution since 1980, The Odeon has been at the heart of Tribeca for more than four decades.

With classic French-American fare and an unmistakably New York atmosphere, this historic spot never loses its energy.

AGMES Tip: Order a martini and settle in. The scene is half the reason to stay.

ALL BLUES

A moody Japanese listening bar for vinyl, drinks and small bites. Built with a low-lit, intimate atmosphere, it’s easy to lose track of time.

THE DJANGO

A cavernous, Parisian-inspired candlelilt jazz celar with live acts, intimate tables, and a distinctly old-New-York feel.

ROXY CINEMA

Old-school cinema, independent films & a very good excuse to disappear for a few hours. Just down the block from our Studio.

AGMES Tip: Let the bartender choose your pour.

BRANDY LIBRARY

A hideaway known for its exceptional collection of rare and aged spirits. This is the perfect spot for a moody nightcap.

AGMES Tip: Leave time to linger by the pool after your treatment.

Tucked beneath a bamboo roof inside a 200-year-old Japanese farmhouse, you’ll forget you’re in New York City.

SHIBUI SPA

STÄLLE STUDIOS

Clinical facial studio, with a more holistic approach to their customized treatments.

Tucked beneath the famous Jenga Tower on Leonard Street, Anish Kapoor’s polished sculpture adds a playful, reflective moment to the neighborhood.

JENGA TOWER

+ BEAN

Built between 1894–1898. The landmark is an iconic example of the neighborhood’s industrial-era architecture.
