How will you be spending your December holidays this year?

On this side of the world our December is the peak of summer, Christmas day is almost always spent by a body of water. This year I will be in Perth with my partner's family. We plan on doing all the family festivities as well as a camping trip on the coast. The landscape in Western Australia is beyond beautiful, I've never seen anything like it. You'll find the bluest ocean, copper red dirt, the most vast skies – and the people are the kindest you'll come across!

What look or piece are you most looking forward to wearing this holiday season?

My dear friend Lakshmi makes the most incredible pieces. Everything is ethically and sustainably made by artisans in India, the fabrics are woven by hand and the embroidery is done with so much care – it's all beautiful! She's just made these sun Kaftans that I know I will be living in all of summer.

What will you be bringing to holiday events this year?

A bottle of Campari and a bag of ice haha!

Are there any local spots you frequent over the holidays that have become a holiday ritual for you?

I love being at home during the holiday season, the energy in the city is always so fun. I will certainly be frequenting these places: Farmers Markets for all the fresh produce, it's always nice to cook for friends and family this time of year. Kindred Restaurant for the bread and pasta, Jane for the oysters and aperitifs, Bar Planet for the best martini's. The women's ocean baths are a regular for me during this period. Tetas for a delicious quick snack.

On her favorite AGMES style: the Small Baroque Luca Earrings

I think this style is classic, it’s a piece that I know could style with almost anything. I love the simplicity and boldness that it holds.

What is your favorite holiday tradition?

My favourite tradition is probably getting to drive down the south coast with my family and friends. We always try to rent out of place near the ocean and have people rotating to come and stay with us for a night or two. It's always such a lovely period of time to switch off from work and enjoy your immediate surroundings in nature with the people you love.

How will you be spending your December holidays this year?

We’ll go away for a couple of days, just my husband, baby and I. Probably SohoFarmhouse for some country side air. And then we'll split the rest of the time between both our families.

Are there any local spots you frequent over the holidays that have become a holiday ritual for you?

I love the big department stores like Liberty, Selfridges and Harrods. I think their buyers are really talented, always a few new pieces I’ve never seen before. And the vibe of the stores are so festive and happy. A little crazy too but that’s all part of it.

What is the best gift you ever received, and who it was from?

My husband always says that I’m the hardest person to buy for. And it’s probably true. But one year he bought me the softest oversized dressing gown, and theres nothing like putting it on after a long day’s work.

What is the best gift you’ve ever given?

I bought a projector for my husband last year and we’ve had the nicest cinema nights at home with it. In the courtyard during the summer, and in our living room area in the winter. The baby also loves it.

What is your favorite restaurant to eat in over the holidays / favorite dish?

A big bowl of pasta and glass of red wine is always my go to. Carlotta was the most recent.

What will you be bringing to holiday events this year?

Friendly chat and a good bottle of wine.

What look or piece are you most looking forward to wearing this holiday season?

Waistcoats, velvet, wide-leg jeans, big boots and my statement silver bracelet. The Benny Blet from Khaite, Citizens of Humanity Ayla jeans, and the Bon Bon Bag from St. Agni

Monikh’s favorite AGMES style: the Large Astrid Cuff.

I’d had my eye on this particular piece for a while. It’s what my wardrobe was in need of; one focal piece to set off my new simple A/W pieces.
